About The Blogger
Greetings thespians! My name is Amelia. The majority of my life has been dedicated to performance. Specifically performing in my small community. From singing Christmas songs at the hospital to competing against other students in dramatic monologues from across my state. I've done just about everything when it comes to Community Theater. I've performed, cleaned, directed, ushered, fund-raised, lit, and decorated every stage that my small community has to offer. While I have never been professionally trained, over 30 productions over my 20 years of life has given me a lot of tips and tricks on how to create local theater. Even though your stage might not be high tech, have a troop of highly talented actors, or have a big budget, the theater is essential. Theater teaches lessons. Theater gives people a place to go to. Everyone should have access to the arts, especially small communities where art may be the only escape for some. I'm here to give you all my insider knowledge on how to make any productions good, no matter what resources you are dealing with. Always feel free to reach out with questions!
